Singer-songwriter Kim Seung-ju successfully completed his first nationwide club tour, once again proving his distinctive musicality and solid live performance skills.
Kim Seung-ju held Kim Seung-ju club tour VC//VRS: Seoul at the YES24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seoul on the 13th and heatedly capped the final stage of a tour that spanned six cities nationwide.
"Kim Seung-ju club tour VC//VRS" ran in a total of six cities from Busan starting on the 29th of last month, through Daegu, Jeonju, Gwangju and Cheongju to Seoul. In particular, the performances in Busan, Daegu, Jeonju and Cheongju sold out in succession, making tangible the audience's hot interest in Kim Seung-ju.
At the Seoul concert, Kim Seung-ju took the stage alone with an acoustic guitar and opened the show with INTRO and "Paradise." Filling the venue solely with his voice and guitar melodies, he then breathed with the band from "To the new town," instantly raising the atmosphere with a richer sound.
He went on to present songs containing Kim Seung-ju's unique narrative one after another, including "Disqualified from music," "Unfinished virus," "History of misfortune," as well as "The protagonist's rule," "Poor cake," "CATCH," and "Home run complex." The composition that organically linked song to song, combined with a solid band sound, completed the entire performance like a single story and heightened the audience's immersion.
Kim Seung-ju's energy did not wane in the latter part of the show. Starting with "Mutant" and "City bombing," he continued a varied lineup through "An acoustic singer who cannot save humanity," "Stove," "Engine," and "To the old town," raising the现场熱気. In particular, "Boy cartoon" added special fun by presenting the first verse in the "front-cover color" version.
Giving his all even through the following encore stages, Kim Seung-ju breathed hotly with the audience until the end and brought the first nationwide club tour to a close. As the final stop of a journey through six cities, the enthusiasm of the audience filling the venue was hotter than ever.
Official merchandise that allows fans to keep memories of the tour also drew the audience's attention. With T-shirts and slogans available, a raffle was held for fans who attended all six city shows and completed their stamp cards, and a special event was prepared in which Kim Seung-ju presented a guitar he personally used, adding significance.
So far, Kim Seung-ju has appeared on various festival stages, showcasing distinctive music and stable live skills. Having expanded his own musical world by meeting audiences across the country more closely through his first nationwide club tour, expectations are growing for Kim Seung-ju's future musical path.
