Yoon Hye-jin was furious about a fake advertisement that used her daughter.
Yoon Hye-jin posted a screenshot on her personal channel on the 14th. The screenshot contains advertising copy that uses Yoon Hye-jin's daughter: "If you click into this that raised Yoon Hye-jin's daughter to 178cm L.I.N.C you will find product information."
In response, Yoon Hye-jin said, "My daughter did not grow from eating this and when did I ever stockpile this on Coupang every day? I just, when the child was dieting, once in a while instead of rice I put tofu in," she said.
She added, "You cannot redistribute someone else's video without permission and post a purchase link to sell it like this. People who are desperate for their children to grow taller might be deceived. Isn't this a scam? Jion did not grow from eating tofu. It's genetics," emphasizing that the advertisement was a scam.
Yoon Hye-jin said angrily, "The photos were run through AI.. No, that's not true. There is no secret. Don't be deceived."
Earlier, Yoon Hye-jin posted on her channel the dramatic growth of her daughter Jion and noted that she is 178cm. Jion attracted attention for her slender height and remarkable proportions. As Jion's height became a topic of interest, fake advertisements using her image seem to have proliferated uncontrollably on social media.
Meanwhile, Yoon Hye-jin married actor Eom Tae-woong in 2013, and the couple have one daughter.
