Love On The Menu Ha Seok-jin raised the question about the "child" that he had been unable to ask Ahn Heeyeon until now, foreshadowing another upheaval.
On the 15th episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama Love On The Menu (directed by Hong Seok-gu, written by Lee Kyung-hee), which aired on the 12th, Han Gyu-rim (Ahn Heeyeon) confided the truth she had been hiding after receiving Kim Mu-jin's (Ha Seok-jin) warm consolation. In addition, the ending, in which Kim Mu-jin directly asks about Han Gyu-rim's biological son, raised the tension to its peak.
That day Kim Mu-jin realized at once from Han Gyu-rim's trembling voice that she was crying. He anxiously asked, "I'll come to you now, where are you?" but Han Gyu-rim hung up in a hurry after leaving only a request to take good care of Han-gyeol (Yoon Ha-bin). Kim Mu-jin stood dazed for a long time holding the phone after the call ended, showing the aching feelings they have for each other and the reality that keeps them from getting close, which left a heavy impression.
A sharp rift formed even among the Han family siblings. After seeing the message Han-gyeol sent saying, "I'll stay at Mr. Mujin's for the time being," Han Gyu-o (Bae Yoon-kyu) lost his temper and raised his voice at Han Gyu-rim. When he said that she raised a child she didn't give birth to as if Han-gyeol were an obstacle blocking his sister's future, Han Gyu-rim eventually slapped her younger brother. She then warned firmly, "Don't say anything to me or Gyeol," showing a strong maternal instinct to protect Han-gyeol.
Meanwhile, Kim Mu-jin quietly stayed by Han-gyeol's side. When Han-gyeol, who was staring at the river, asked what he was thinking about, Kim Mu-jin answered, "The same thing as you," revealing his true feelings for Han Gyu-rim. When asked since when he had liked her, he hesitated for a moment and confessed, "Since the day we first met nine years ago, there hasn't been a single minute I haven't liked you." It was a moment that revealed Kim Mu-jin's pure love, who had never let go of his feelings for Han Gyu-rim during those nine years.
Later, Kim Mu-jin answered a phone call from Han Gyu-rim that had come to Han-gyeol. Gazing at Han Gyu-rim, who poured out words without pause in anxiety, he reassured her that the child was doing well and asked Han-gyeol to pack his things. Later, with sleeping Han-gyeol between them, the two exchanged tender looks. Kim Mu-jin's advice that it is better to face things honestly rather than avoid them and his warm support that he would help anytime became a solid source of strength for Han Gyu-rim.
The conflict between Jang Hoon-tae (Kwon Hae-hyo) and Go Yoon-hee (Yoon Yoo-seon) also deepened. Jang Hoon-tae planned to leave home for a while out of consideration for his daughter Jang Seo-hyun (Lee Joo-yeon), and watching this, Go Yoon-hee poured out her painful feelings, saying, "Then will I continue to be cowardly?" She also asked if revealing that Han Gyu-rim was her biological daughter would cause Jang Seo-hyun to turn away from her, but Jang Hoon-tae left without answering. Later, when Jang Seo-hyun returned home and hugged her mother while saying never to forgive her father, Go Yoon-hee could not bear to look at her daughter. Her guilt at having given her biological daughter a wound that would be hard to wash away for life was fully revealed.
Han Gyu-rim's youngest sibling Han Gyu-min (Kim Min-seo) asked Kim Mu-jin whether he had confirmed with Han Gyu-rim at the hospital that the babies had been switched. Kim Mu-jin answered that he had not asked yet, and Han Gyu-min retorted, "If it's true that you gave birth to the baby and the hospital swapped him with Gyeol, then what would you do, mister?" Faced with the realistic question that no one had dared to raise, Kim Mu-jin could not answer and showed his complicated emotions.
And near the end of the broadcast, Han Gyu-rim, recalling Kim Mu-jin's advice, finally sought him out. Han Gyu-rim revealed the shocking fact that Han-gyeol is her friend's son, and Kim Mu-jin comforted her for summoning the courage to tell the truth, saying the child would understand as well.
