Ahn Jung-hwan boasted that his daughter, who graduated from New York University, succeeded in getting a job.
On the 12th episode of MBC's Hangout With Yoo, soccer commentator Ahn Jung-hwan appeared.
That day Ahn Jung-hwan, when asked what he does on his days off, said "On my days off I'm almost always at home. I hardly schedule work on Saturdays and Sundays. I have to accommodate the child. She goes to school and comes home late. On weekdays there are times when I come home late too, and even when I have time the child has to go to school. So I try to match that time," showing his affection for his child.
HaHa asked whether children might rather want to hang out with friends on weekends, and Ahn Jung-hwan, with a hurt expression, said, "In the past we went out to eat a lot, but now they go out to meet friends."
Ahn Jung-hwan said his younger son is currently a third-year high school student, and he shared that his eldest daughter graduated from New York University this May. Ahn Jung-hwan surprised everyone by saying his daughter's job announcement meant the day of the filming was her second day at work. Especially, Joo Woo-jae covered his mouth and said, "I watched you on TV when you were a baby."
Ahn Jung-hwan continued to brag about his daughter, saying, "She was going around for interviews and said she needed to save money. So she went to work when I left."
When asked about his son, who became a test-taker, Ahn Jung-hwan candidly said, "My son doesn't play with me anymore. He's rude. I understood it during puberty, but as he grew his self-assertion became stronger. He asks, 'Why do I have to do this?' On the one hand I think, this kid has grown up a lot. I try to think positively but then I feel needlessly hurt. Isn't that too much?" which provoked laughter.
