Actor Hwang Shin-hye said her heart was heavy worrying about her mother and daughter's health even as she left for a trip to Italy.

Although Hwang Shin-hye was visiting Italy again after 10 years, her feelings at the start of the trip were not entirely light. It was because family members had been falling ill one after another right up until her departure.
Hwang Shin-hye said, "Until just yesterday before this trip, my mother was taking medicine for shingles, and Jin-yi was also taking medicine for gastroenteritis," revealing that her mother and daughter Lee Jin-yi were experiencing health problems at the same time. She added, "Because the two were sick, my heart was heavy when I was leaving," recounting how she felt having to set off on the trip while leaving her family behind.
In particular, Hwang Shin-hye said the experience made her think a lot about growing older. She said, "I think things like this will continue to happen. Or I might be sick and unable to go," and added, "I feel that situations that allow me to go will increasingly not be permitted."
She said she felt grateful simply for the moment she was able to travel now. Hwang Shin-hye calmly said, "I'm just grateful. I pray in my heart that everything goes well during the trip and that there are no problems," and added, "Gratitude deepens as you get older."
