Broadcaster Kim Nayoung was praised for her drawing skills by her husband My Q.
On the 13th, a video titled "Why did the Nayoung household go to Kenya?" was posted on the YouTube channel "Kim Nayoung's No Filter TV."
That day Kim Nayoung said, "Although it's hard to believe, our family is going to Kenya on a church mission. I didn't know there would be so much to prepare," and said they prepared for about two and a half months.
The Kim Nayoung family departed for Kenya. During the still-unfinished travel time she said, "It's far. No matter how far you go, it doesn't end." For a moment after that, she walked hand in hand with My Q, creating a sweet atmosphere.
Eventually the Kim Nayoung family arrived in Kenya and took a bus to Tala. Heading to an orphanage run by missionaries, Kim Nayoung marveled, "It is much more beautifully and well maintained than I expected," she said in amazement.
On the second day, Kim Nayoung and My Q began painting a mural at an elementary school. My Q, who was in charge of overall mural directing, urged people, "The most important thing is to have a joyful heart. If my heart is a little uncomfortable or sad or irritated, that remains. With a joyful heart, let's enjoy ourselves."
They officially started painting the mural. Kim Nayoung showed professional-level skill and said, "This mural work brings great joy."
On the wall were painted the Kenyan flag, the African continent, musical notes, and the structure of a plant drawn by Kim Nayoung. A volunteer who joined in said, "Nayoung, you draw well," and Kim Nayoung jokingly said, "Me? I have newly discovered my talent."
Then a volunteer praised them extravagantly, saying, "You could even do a couple's exhibition." Embarrassed, Kim Nayoung asked, "Do I qualify as a painter's wife?" My Q acknowledged, "Totally."
