Pop star Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with her fiancé Michael Polansky, and it was reported that the two have been taking the summer off from work to focus on parenting.
On the 12th (local time), U.S. outlet People quoted a recent source saying Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky "both took the summer off and spent time with their new baby," the report said. Both light up when talking about becoming parents, and Polansky in particular was described as "looking more relaxed and happier."
Earlier, Page Six reported on the 11th that Lady Gaga and Polansky had welcomed their first child together. Afterwards, the two and the newborn were first spotted together in northern California, drawing intense interest.
In the released photos, Lady Gaga walked down the street holding the baby close to her chest, with Polansky walking beside her. However, specific information such as the baby's name, sex, and exact birth date has not yet been disclosed.
Forty-year-old Lady Gaga has repeatedly expressed her desire to become a mother. She appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in October last year and said motherhood would be her "next leading role," attracting attention.
When she appeared on Good Morning America in March last year, she said "I am a family person" and candidly added, "Above all, I want marriage and children." At the time, 42-year-old Polansky also said he had the same wish, drawing attention to the couple's plans for marriage and family.
Lady Gaga and Polansky began dating publicly in 2020. At the time, they released photos of themselves showing affection on a yacht, confirming their relationship.
Their engagement was revealed through the 2024 Paris Olympics in France. While watching the Olympic swimming events, Lady Gaga introduced Polansky, a Harvard-educated investor, to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal as her "fiancé." It was later reported that the two had actually become engaged several months before that moment.
