Actor Zin Taihyun returned to the half marathon a year after thyroid cancer surgery.
On the 13th, Zin Taihyun posted photos on his personal SNS commemorating finishing the marathon with his wife Park Si-eun and said, "Today was the first race of the second half of 2026 and a steady-run training half marathon."
That day, Zin Taihyun said, "My wife ran 10k, and maybe because she is currently in training to raise her condition she felt a lot of strain and it was very hard, but she ran a steady run at a 1 hour 37 minutes 1 second 435 pace. My wife comfortably ran 52 minutes with a super build-up."
He added, "I was excited and happy to return to the half marathon one year after thyroid surgery. I will give myself some rest this week and early next week do a steady run of more than 35k and manage the remaining five weeks well."
At the same time, Zin Taihyun expressed affection, saying, "Marathon is always so hard haha, but what can I do when I love this so much," and "Anyway none of that matters, my wife is the prettiest."
Meanwhile, Zin Taihyun married actor Park Si-eun in 2015. The two adopted their eldest daughter Park Da-bi-da and later welcomed marathoner stepdaughter Han Ji-hye as a new family member.<
