Girl group Jewelry reunites in full for the first time in 20 years to unveil a stage that belies the passage of time.
The 773rd episode of KBS 2TV's Immortal Songs, airing at 6:05 p.m. on the 12th, is presented as part 1 of the 2026 NEW WAVE Festival in Ulsan. Against the backdrop of the beautiful Ulsan Taehwagang National Garden and joined by about 10,000 spectators, the special part 1 features Lee Seung Gi, Forestella, Lee Chan-won, Dayoung, Click-B and Jewelry among six acts that will color Ulsan's night splendidly.
The biggest highlight of the broadcast is undoubtedly Jewelry's performance as a full group after 20 years with Park Jung-a, Lee Ji-hyun, Seo In Young and Cho Min-a. They demonstrate the original girl-crush's power with hit songs that defined an era, including One More Time, I Really Like You, Tonight and Super Star. Ulsan citizens also reportedly responded with roaring cheers to signature performances like the ET dance and the shake dance.
Members also share candid behind-the-scenes stories about their long-awaited stage. Jewelry confessed, "It was harder to dance in heels like before. When I turned around it was a blank," and Seo In Young, after finishing the stage, said, "Maybe it's menopause, I'm crying again," expressing overwhelming emotion that moved the venue.
A special collaboration linking generations also draws attention. 'Original Cinderella' Seo In Young and '2026 Cinderella' Dayoung meet on one stage to perform the hit song "Cinderella" together. Dayoung said, "Seo In Young unni was my role model and a star when I was young. I can't believe I'm even in the same space," showing the passion to faithfully recreate Seo In Young's past costumes and high-heel style, adding to the emotion.
In addition, the stage lineup is rich with legendary artists crossing genres. Crossover group Forestella reinterprets Bohemian Rhapsody and others with high-quality tones, Lee Seung Gi captivates the audience with signature hits such as Because You're My Woman, MC Lee Chan-won will present a tailored stage with Ulsan Arirang suited to the region, and Click-B will evoke memories with Baekjeon Mupa.
