Actor Kim Ji-young said she dyes her hair often.
On the 11th, a video titled [Warning: spoilers] What happens when Bok-gil and Yeong-nam fight as a real couple lol (ft. behind the scenes of Rural Diary) was posted on the YouTube channel 'Next-door couple Seo Hyun-chul Jeong Jae-eun'.
That day, Nam Seong-jin and Kim Ji-young, who became a married couple through Rural Diary, appeared. The two said, "We dated for seven years and then married," noting they use honorifics with each other. Kim Ji-young said, "Before we married, we used informal speech. But after we married, if we kept living the same way, we'd fall apart," drawing laughter.
With honorifics entrenched, fights between the couple definitely don't escalate, they said. The two explained the benefit of honorifics, saying, "There are times when harsh words come out, but we restrain ourselves from fighting." However, as an actor couple, if they cross the line by criticizing each other's acting, it becomes a big fight, so "we do monitor, but we do it very carefully," they added.
Regarding secrets they don't know about each other despite being married, Nam Seong-jin shared a surprising story. He said, "This person (Kim Ji-young) really dyes her hair often. She has a lot of gray hair."
Kim Ji-young confessed, "I have so many gray hairs that I dye my hair often," adding, "As soon as I had a child, all my hair went white." Nam Seong-jin said, "I've never seen that."
She added, "When I tell people this, they say, 'Your wife really takes care of herself for you.'" When Seo Hyun-chul and Jeong Jae-eun asked Kim Ji-young whether she still wants to look pretty, Kim Ji-young replied, "Whether I want to look pretty or not, my husband isn't the kind of person who thinks about me that way," which prompted more laughter.
