The original mambo girl and actress-broadcaster Lee Seon-jeong candidly revealed a version of herself different from the past.
On the 11th, the YouTube channel Lee Seon-jeong's Seon-jeong-hagi posted a video titled "What to wear when you go to Hongdae? Lee Seon-jeong's MZ fashion exploration."
In this video, Lee Seon-jeong visited Hongdae for the first time in a long while. She said, "This is the first time I've been to Hongdae almost since my 20s," and sank into old memories. Lee Seon-jeong honestly said, "When I was popular, we filmed here, and back then when we passed by people all gathered. Now, well, they don't know who I am."
Ik Seon-jeong showed various fashions at a clothing store under the theme "You can wear it in your 40s," drawing admiration. She perfectly pulled off a tank-top, jeans and see-through skirt look, yet laughed as she said, "But I couldn't go around wearing something like this. 'Isn't that aunt a bit strange?' people might think."
When asked about her club looks in her 20s, she recalled, "I covered up. I kept taking off my clothes for photo shoots so much. Normally I just wore a cotton T-shirt and jeans. Even then, it worked."
Lee Seon-jeong also visited a famous tteokbokki shop in Hongdae and said, "I used to eat a whole serving of tteokbokki, but now I can't. I've gotten older. I used to eat two bowls of pho; I don't know how my digestion was so fast back then," noting a digestive difference from her 20s.
Then suddenly she said frankly, "There are comments like, 'Where did her chest go?' Where did it go? It disappeared with age. Like gone with the wind, it disappeared with age," provoking laughter.
At the end of the video, her longtime friend, comedian Jung jun-ha, appeared, adding to the delight. Jung jun-ha told Lee Seon-jeong, "Seon-jeong hasn't changed," and jokingly encouraged her, "Why don't you go on I'm SOLO once?", eliciting laughter.
