At that time she approached two young men who had recognized her and were filming and asked their ages. When they answered they were 20 years old, Hong Hyun-hee naturally asked when they would enlist in the military, and when they replied next week she opened her wallet, surprising onlookers.
She said, "I don't know if you've eaten. Big sister should buy you one," and handed over money, and the young man declined, saying, "This is too much. No." However, Hong Hyun-hee said, "Buy yourself a coffee too," and expressed, "This is a thank-you for defending the country," which moved people.
Hong Hyun-hee continued, "Thanks to the soldiers we can stretch out our legs and sleep comfortably," and said, "Because I have a son it doesn't feel like someone else's matter. Buy something tasty with your friend and serve your military life healthily."
Meanwhile, Hong Hyun-hee married Jasson in 2018 and has one son. Hong Hyun-hee previously drew attention by saying she lost weight from 60kg to 49kg.
