Girls' Day alumna actress Hyeri (Lee Hye-ri) reportedly became the "lifesaver" for her close friend, actress Park Gyeonghye.
On the 11th, a video titled "you are invited to adult women's brunch talk" was uploaded to Hyeri's YouTube channel.
That day, when the conversation turned to hepatitis B vaccination, she confessed, "I should get it, but I keep postponing it. They told me to make sure to get it during my health checkup, but I haven't gotten it yet."
In response, Park Gyeonghye chided her and recounted, "The reason I take health checkups so seriously is that something really thankful happened. Last year, Hyeri suddenly called me. 'The health checkup doctor will call you. Just take it and tell them your information,' she said, so I asked, 'A health checkup? When is the health checkup?' and she replied, 'You said you don't have plans that day. You can get the health checkup that day.'"
Hyeri explained, "I thought it would be nice to do it together while I'm getting mine," and Park Gyeonghye said, "So I suddenly ended up doing the health checkup with her. We finished the checkup well and ate something delicious. Then it was the day the test results came out. The hospital called. They said they had found something slightly wrong and told me to come in quickly. So I rushed to the hospital. After being examined, they said some action was necessary. So they caught it just before it became really dangerous," revealing that thanks to the early detection she was able to safely preserve her health.
Hyeri explained, "I was able to have the surgery right then," and Park Gyeonghye nodded, saying, "If it hadn't been at that time, things could have really escalated."
The producer, hearing this, exclaimed, "a lifesaver?" and asked, "Did you have some hunch that you should do it together?" Hyeri honestly replied, "No. I was just getting mine and thought it would be boring alone," prompting laughter.
Park Gyeonghye said, "The timing is really surprising. I'm really grateful," and Hyeri jokingly said, "Pay me back." In response, Park Gyeonghye emphasized, "Absolutely. I will definitely repay you."
