The group BTS is continuing an unstoppable run of new records in the sixth month after the release of their fifth studio album Arirang (ARIRANG).
BTS's fifth studio album Arirang charted at No. 99 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart (Sept. 11–Sept. 17), marking 25 consecutive weeks on the chart. While breaking its own record for longest consecutive charting each week, it showed balanced results on subcharts as well, ranking No. 77 on the Official Physical Albums, No. 79 on the Official Album Sales, and No. 90 on the Official Scottish Albums chart.
Its strong performance on the world's largest music streaming platform Spotify remains unchanged. Arirang held No. 2 for four consecutive weeks on Spotify's latest Weekly Top Albums Global (tracking period: Sept. 4–Sept. 10). Since debuting at No. 1 upon its March release, it has firmly held a top-three position.
It showed a pleasant rebound on the song charts. Lead single "SWIM" and album track "NORMAL" rose one and two spots respectively on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global compared with the previous week, landing at No. 11 and No. 80.
In particular, lead single "SWIM" reaffirmed its status as a global hit by appearing on Billboard's 2026 Global Songs of the Summer. "SWIM" reached No. 2 on Global (excluding U.S.) and No. 6 on the Global 200, and during the tracking period (June 6–Sept. 12) it topped Global (excluding U.S.) for a total of eight weeks and the Global 200 for a total of four weeks, heating up the global music market this summer.<
