Singer Nabi announced that she has joined the "Aedul Lady" after giving birth to her second child.
On the Nov. 11 broadcast of KBS2's Happy Together — I like that I'm not alone (hereinafter "Happy Together"), the story of the "Aedul Lady" team, which only allows mothers of two children to join, was introduced and drew attention.
Nabi gave birth to her second child last April. As of the recording date, the second child was 108 days old. Nabi said she was offered to join the "Aedul Lady" immediately after giving birth.
Yu Jae-seok asked, "If the child had just passed 100 days, you would still be taking care of them, so could you accept the recruitment offer and join right away?"
In response, Nabi joked, "Both my first and second were cesarean deliveries. I said, 'I've had surgery twice so it's still not healed,' 'Sorry, please find another member,' and refused."
Nabi, who said the members are her seniors and juniors from university, said, "They were friends who did chorus with me, so they said, 'I remember when we performed together. It's hard, but let's hang in there together,' and cheered me on," and added, "They said, 'Well, you're not just one mother but three, so what is there to be afraid of,' and that gave me confidence to join."
Meanwhile, Nabi married former footballer Jo Seong-hwan in 2019 and held her first son in May 2021, and gave birth to her second child in Apr. 2026.
