Actor Roh Jae Won appears on Coupang Play's variety show "Office Workers," showcasing explosive comedic talent and method acting.
Roh Jae Won, who perfectly portrayed a crazed villain in the film Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (directed by Choi Guk-hee), appears in episode 3 of Coupang Play's "Office Workers," which is released today (the 11th) at 5 p.m., continuing an ardent promotional campaign.
Casting off the film's chilling villain Park Tae-young, Roh Jae Won transforms in this variety show into DY Planning's newly selected "first cohort of college student supporters," completing a slightly unhinged supporter character with deeply practiced skits. Overflowing with excessive affection for the company, she pours out merchandise ideas like a waterfall, surprises employees with unprecedented gifts, and in an instant manipulates the office, displaying the insane presence of a "rookie publicity tazza."
Even from the previously released preview for episode 3, prospective viewers' reactions are already hot. Roh Jae Won's method acting, moving unabashedly between straight drama and skit, has drawn enthusiastic praise in comments such as "the eye acting alone is incredibly immersive" and "I cracked up at the line in a particular scene," raising anticipation for the full episode to a peak.
Roh Jae Won swept praise from the press and critics after the first preview screening. Critics say she brought to life the character Park Tae-young, marked by jealousy and inferiority, in a three-dimensional and convincing way, creating an all-time fresh villain.
Meanwhile, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, which will close out the final chapter of the "Tazza" series, is a crime film in which Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-Han), who believed he owned the world through an online casino business, and his namesake friend Park Tae-young (Roh Jae Won), who took everything from him, meet again on a global gambling stage and engage in a life-or-death game of revenge. Based on the original work of cartoonist Heo Yeong, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub opens in theaters on the 23rd.
