The group BTS vividly brings the heat of their South American tour to theaters worldwide.
BTS recently announced the holding of "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' : LIVE VIEWING" through the global superfan platform Weverse, drawing fans' attention.
This live viewing will cover the third-day performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Oct. 24 (local time) and the second-day performance in São Paulo, Brazil, on Oct. 30.
Live viewings, which let audiences enjoy the venue's excitement vividly through large screens and an overwhelming sound system, previously took place in Goyang and Busan in Korea and Tokyo in Japan, receiving explosive response. This South American concert live viewing will unfold on a record scale with screenings in about 3,800 theaters across more than 80 countries and regions worldwide. In Korea, it will be available at all three major multiplex chains: CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox.
Screenings will be operated as live broadcasts and delayed broadcasts according to time differences. Regions with large time differences, including Asia and Australia, including Korea, are expected to welcome audiences in theaters one to two days after the concert ends. Ticket reservations, for which fierce fan demand is expected, begin on Sept. 17. Domestic booking will open sequentially from 10 a.m., and global booking will start at 10 p.m. the same day.
Meanwhile, BTS will continue a large-scale tour of 14 performances across five South American cities, starting in Bogotá, Colombia, in Oct., then Lima, Peru, Santiago, Chile, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil.
The Buenos Aires shows at Estadio Único de La Plata, where the live viewing will be held, take place on Oct. 21 and Oct. 23–24, and the São Paulo shows at Estádio do Morumbi take place on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30–31.
