'5th-generation breakout girl group' izna and RESCENE had a fresh, youth drama–like meeting.
In the 'My One Day' video released on izna's official YouTube channel on the 10th, izna's Mai and Yoo Sarang and RESCENE's Won-i and Reeve were shown enjoying a day date. The four, who matched a school uniform dress code with a student-era concept, showed exceptional affection from the opening. When Mai introduced RESCENE as "the girl group that's completely hot right now," Won-i surprised everyone by confessing, "Honestly, there's something I haven't told Mai. My ultimate bias in izna is Sarang," and Reeve also named Yoo Sarang as her favorite, marking a cheerful start.
The date that continued at an instant tteokbokki restaurant was as warm and friendly as a blind date. Under the lead of Mai and Won-i, who were acquainted, Yoo Sarang and Reeve shyly exchanged greetings. When Yoo Sarang admitted that she had wanted to get closer to Won-i in the past but saw that Won-i had grown close to Mai and said, "I thought my favorite had changed," Won-i replied, "A favorite is an eternal favorite." Mai then joked, "I thought it had changed?" which drew big laughs. Afterwards, the four chatted about diverse topics such as dorm life and each team's concepts, matched couple key rings at a stationery store, bought each other's albums and did album-opening celebrations, showcasing an even tighter chemistry.
In particular, RESCENE's Won-i and Reeve added meaning by appearing as izna's YouTube channel's first guests. Mai expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for coming even though you must be busy," and added, "Watching RESCENE's videos, I often thought 'we really need to work hard too.'" Won-i also responded encouragingly, "We debuted around the same time, didn't we? You're doing well now. Let's work hard and rise together. I want to meet you on a truly big stage later and perform together." Contrary to their powerful onstage images, the two teams shared candid friendship moments of peers, from taking four-shot photos to enjoying a cafe tour, bringing pleasant smiles to global fans.
