The group Hearts2Hearts has been selected as the first artist for Spotify CLOSER, a new project by the world's largest music platform, Spotify.
"Spotify CLOSER" is a newly planned program designed to spotlight promising domestic artists and help foster close engagement with fans. As the first act, Hearts2Hearts will commemorate this by holding a special solo concert on Oct. 2 at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, and connecting with listeners.
At this concert, Hearts2Hearts plans to present a wealth of sights and unreleased stages without reserve. In particular, they will premiere the Korean-language version of their Japan debut song "ICONIC HEART" (Iconic Heart), which will be officially released later, to raise the venue's excitement. In addition, there will be a candid talk session where fans can glimpse the members' different charms and an immersive experiential space to sensorially experience the team's unique musical world.
The members said, "We have valued having our music reach listeners around the world through Spotify. We are truly looking forward to the moment when we can meet fans more closely, as we have prepared various stages."
Hearts2Hearts' formidable streaming power shown on global charts also adds weight to this move. Earlier, they wrote a historic record by becoming the first K-pop girl group released this year to surpass 100 million Spotify streams with the single "RUDE!" (Rude!). With this, following their existing mega hits "The Chase" (The Chase) and "STYLE" (Style), they now have a total of three songs with 100 million streams on Spotify. Music fans are watching closely to see what further brilliant leap Hearts2Hearts, who are boasting overwhelming global popularity, will make based on their close collaboration with Spotify.
