Tazza4, concluding a 20-year series, will hold relay screenings with three theater chains.
"Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub" will hold member screenings in succession at CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox following explosive reactions at press screenings.
The finale of the Tazza series, "Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub," will hold member screenings at the three theater chains. Following the praise poured out immediately after the press screening, word of mouth is expected to continue through the theater member screenings. Not only the theater member screenings but also stage greetings, which will be held starting two weeks before release, have been confirmed in succession, betting on word of mouth based on confidence in the film's craftsmanship.
The theater member screenings will be held nationwide on Monday, Sept. 14 and Tuesday, Sept. 15. CGV will hold screenings on Sept. 14 (Mon) at Yongsan I'Park Mall, Wangsimni, Gangnam, Centum City and Cheonan Terminal, and on Sept. 15 (Tue) at Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Ulsan Samsan, Gwanggyo, Uijeongbu and Incheon. Lotte Cinema will meet audiences on the 14th (Mon) at Dongseongno, Gunsan Mall, Sangin, Changwon and Daejeon Central, and on the 15th (Tue) at Lotte Cinema Busan Main, Gwangbok, World Tower, Konkuk University Station, Suwon (Suwon Station), Suzy, Bupyeong History, Pyeongchon (Beomgye Station) and Sillim. Megabox will hold screenings on the 15th (Tue) at Guui Eastpole, Daegu Shinsegae, Daejeon Jungang-ro, Mokdong, Suwon Starfield and COEX. Meanwhile, responses spreading online and offline through the Sept. 9 (Wed) press and audience screenings are also hot. "The birth of an overwhelming finale that will seize the public's five senses this Chuseok," "the straightforward themes of two friends' friendship, betrayal and revenge deliver extreme immersion," "a thrilling, sure fun down to the fingertips" were among the continuing reviews. Added to this was the response that "the expanded scale crossing borders completes a spectacle befitting the series finale," raising expectations for the series' final installment.
The final Tazza installment, "Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub," is a crime film in which Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-Han), who thought he had everything through an online casino business, and his close friend with the same name Park Tae-young (Roh Jae Won), who took everything from him, meet again on a global gambling stage and engage in a showdown of revenge.
Tazza began with the 2006 release starring Cho Seung-woo and Kim Hye-soo, and continued with Tazza - The Hand of God (2014) and Tazza: One Eyed Jack (2019), receiving much love. The new Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, coming out after seven years, has attracted more attention for its original worldview and individuality. It opens on the 23rd.
