Actress Han Go-eun recounted a dizzying moment in an otherwise ordinary day when a small mistake could have led to a major accident.
On the 10th, the YouTube channel "Goeununnie Han Go-eun" released a video titled "While filming, my husband called crying... I ended up rushing to the hospital at 4 a.m."
That day Han Go-eun said, "There was trouble at home," and for the first time recounted an accident that occurred about two weeks earlier in her home bathroom.
At the time Han Go-eun, who said she was quite tired, went into the bathroom to wash and slipped after failing to notice water on the floor. She recalled, "At the moment I slipped I tried to grab something but my hand slipped too," and "the bathroom floor in our house is marble and I hit my body hard against it."
The impact was considerable. Han Go-eun said, "At that moment I couldn't think of anything and I couldn't make a sound. I think I lay on the bathroom floor for about 10 minutes." At the time, her husband Shin Young-soo was asleep and did not immediately know an accident had occurred.
In the end Han Go-eun could not get herself up and said, "I really crawled out," describing the situation. Even afterward the pain did not subside easily. She said, "It was hard to breathe and it was difficult to lie down or sit up and then stand," and "I couldn't even cough and I had a hard time even going to the bathroom."
Hearing this beside her, her husband Shin Young-soo explained, "A bone had a crack, and it had not been long since it formed." It was not simply a slip; she sustained an injury severe enough to crack a bone. In particular, because bathrooms are spaces prone to slipping due to moisture and, in homes like Han Go-eun's with hard marble floors, a fall can cause a major impact, her account was all the more startling.
Meanwhile, Han Go-eun married Shin Young-soo, who is four years younger, in April 2015. The two have continued to be loved by the public by sharing their married life through broadcasts and YouTube.
