Singers Soyou, Lee Chang-seop and Jung Jin-woon wrapped up a close friends' trip that mixed laughter, tears and candid moments.
On the Sept. 9 broadcast of KBS Joy entertainment program "Kkirikkiri," the final travel episode featuring Lee Chang-seop, Jung Jin-woon and Soyou visiting Japan's Shodoshima island was revealed. The three showed varied chemistry as they enjoyed everything from Japanese home-style course meals to healing at the olive park and water activities, spending a fulfilling time.
On that day's broadcast, the members' frank confessions drew attention. After finishing swimming and enjoying a meal at the accommodation, Lee Chang-seop revealed he was taking hair loss medication and confessed he suffered gynecomastia, a development of male breast tissue, as a side effect of the drug. Lee Chang-seop calmly said, "I will later undergo surgery to remove the glandular tissue," adding, "Once removed, it does not come back," drawing attention.
In an interview with the production team, Soyou's painful personal circumstances and the members' deep friendship were revealed. Soyou mentioned that her father had been in an accident just before filming and said, "I felt so sorry to tell the production team and the members this. But Chang-seop and Jin-woon told me not to be sorry and said, "Don't force yourself to act upbeat; we'll do it all,"" expressing gratitude. Jung Jin-woon and Lee Chang-seop also did not hide their special affection for each other.
