Singer and actor Kim Min-jong withdrew his complaint against MC MONG and opened up about his feelings.
On the 10th, Kim Min-jong said in a statement, "As of yesterday I withdrew the case I filed against MC MONG. Many people who heard the news asked with concern, 'Why did you withdraw the complaint so easily?'" he said.
He continued, "But whatever is done is already past and water under the bridge. To give myself time to meet a better version of myself, after deep reflection I made this decision," he explained.
Earlier in May, MC MONG named Kim Min-jong and raised allegations of involvement in illegal gambling, and at the time Kim Min-jong appealed his innocence, calling it "clear falsehoods," and said he would take immediate legal action.
MC MONG held a live broadcast to apologize directly to Kim Min-jong, and after receiving the apology Kim Min-jong decided to withdraw the complaint.
Kim Min-jong said, "Those 110 days are a time I will never forget in my life. I lost many things because of it, but I also think it was a time I gained many things," and added, "I bow deeply and offer my thanks and my apologies to the many people who trusted and supported me during that process."
He added, "From now on I, Kim Min-jong, will reflect more deeply and live diligently and earnestly so I can become a better Min-jong. I am very sorry. And I am very grateful."
