The group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) earned its first Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan since debut, proving its global momentum as the "2026's top rookie."
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 10th, ALPHA DRIVE ONE's mini album 2 "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST," released on the 24th of last month, surpassed cumulative shipments of 100,000 copies and received Gold certification. This is a valuable achievement despite not having officially debuted locally, clearly showing explosive growth such as jumping straight to No. 2 on the Oricon weekly combined album ranking immediately after the album's release.
Alongside the album's strong performance, the response on music charts to the title track "BORN DIRE" has also been hot. The song recorded the highest ranking among K-pop artists on LINE MUSIC's "Album Top 100" chart and took No. 1 on Japan iTunes' "K-POP Top Songs" chart. On major platform AWA, all tracks on the album settled in upper ranks, demonstrating the powerful support from local fans for ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
Having left a clear mark on the Japanese music market and successfully concluding activities for the mini album 2, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is moving on to the next step to sustain the momentum. They plan to release a new music video for the follow-up song "Talk to me" on Oct. 27. After leaving the fierce and overwhelming intensity of "少年BEAST" through "BORN DIRE," attention is focused on what different charms they will show in their follow-up activities.
