Singer Son Tae Jin revealed his Seoul home for the first time. From a rooftop pool boasting an open view of Gangnam to his parents' home located in the same building, it drew attention.
On the 10th the KBS2 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' featured Son Tae Jin's daily life.
That day Son Tae Jin appeared enjoying a swim against the backdrop of the expansively spread Seoul city center. At first glance it looked like a house with a private pool attached, but it turned out to be the residents' communal rooftop pool of the building where Son Tae Jin lives.
However, the scale and view rivaled that of many hotels. Beyond the pool an unobstructed view of the Gangnam area unfolded, creating an atmosphere as if enjoying a "rooftop hotel vacation" in the heart of the city.
After finishing his swim Son Tae Jin took the elevator to his home. Yet his breakfast spot was elsewhere. It was his parents' home located in the same building.
Son Tae Jin's parents have lived in Malaysia for about 20 years and are currently staying at their family home in Malaysia. In Seoul there was a space arranged where they could stay in the same building as their son, which drew attention.
Even in the home where his parents were absent his mother's touch remained intact. Son Tae Jin revealed a recipe book his mother had organized herself.
In particular, the recipe book detailed the cooking steps so thoroughly that even those unfamiliar with cooking could follow them exactly, and with English notes added, it showed exceptional care. The mother's thoughtfulness in preparing so Son Tae Jin could have home-cooked meals while his parents were far away in Malaysia added warmth.
