80-year-old actor Jung Young-sook revealed her weight of 46kg.
On the 9th, Jung Young-sook appeared on the general programming channel TV CHOSUN's current affairs and culture program PerfecT's Perfect Life and revealed her health management secrets.
That day Jung Young-sook said, "Next year I will be 80. I have hyperlipidemia, and I had a test this year but my glycated hemoglobin still hasn't dropped from 6%. I haven't paid any attention. As you get older, blood vessels are the biggest problem," saying she was worried.
Next, Jung Young-sook's exercise routine was also revealed and drew attention. Jung Young-sook originally hiked but started going to the gym because of the hot weather.
In particular, Jung Young-sook drew attention with astonishing flexibility. While stretching she boasted fitness and flexibility that made her age of 80 hard to believe. The doctor watching the screen said, "At that level, your physical age seems to be in the 20s," expressing surprise.
Jung Young-sook's InBody results were also revealed. Jung Young-sook's weight was 46kg, skeletal muscle mass 18.6kg and body fat mass 10.9kg. The trainer who checked the results explained, "Because your weight is so slim the muscle mass may look small but it's not a small number. The important thing is how you use these muscles well."
Doctors were also surprised by Jung Young-sook's InBody results. A traditional Korean medicine doctor said, "It's 100 out of 100. It's perfect. Visceral fat level is about 4, which is a very low number. If you maintain this condition, you will likely live past 150," he said, drawing attention.
Worried about muscle exercise, Jung Young-sook asked, "Won't it be too much as I get older?" In response, neurosurgeon Dae Sae-heo said, "You will exercise until you are 120. In older adults, if sarcopenia exists, it's not only that muscle disappears but the risk of cardiovascular disease increases. It's actually related to life," he said.
