YouTuber couple OliverSaem, who have 2.25 million subscribers, revealed the reason they left their long-prepared house in Texas and moved to Minnesota.

On the day, the couple said they recently left Texas and moved to Minnesota. Earlier, OliverSaem had said that after acquiring more than 4,000 pyeong of land in Texas, he participated in construction himself to save labor costs and completed the house over about six years.
Although it was a home they poured so much love into, climate issues played a major role in their decision to move. The couple said, "Texas is getting hotter," explaining that the heat made outdoor life difficult after 10 a.m. With ongoing drought, ground and water temperatures rose and concerns about groundwater grew.
They also considered long-term living conditions. They explained they decided to move based on the view that maintaining their current lifestyle would be difficult over the next 20 to 30 years.
They chose Minnesota in the northern United States as their new home. The couple said they considered several conditions necessary for family life, including a relatively mild climate, abundant water resources, the medical system and school districts. But the moving process was not easy. They needed about 35 million won for local packing and moving costs. In the end, they left much of the furniture in the old house and packed only essential daily necessities. The couple likened it to "coming out like Noah's ark," drawing laughter. Although the distance would take about 14 hours by a regular car, pulling a trailer extended the actual move to about 20 hours.
They also revealed childcare concerns they feel raising two daughters in the United States. OliverSaem's wife honestly said that because various cultures coexist, parenting styles differ and parents sometimes feel shaken. Hearing this, Lee Ji Hye freely shared her parenting philosophy and said, "At times you have to toughen them up(?)" which made the scene burst into laughter. Moon Jae-wan quickly covered by saying "Georgia," adding to the laughter. Lee Ji Hye added, "Children need to know there are things to be afraid of. It would be fortunate if that's the mother," expressing her belief that it is necessary to give children clear standards. OliverSaem's wife also said, "I like hearing direct Korean parenting methods," and playfully replied, "I will Georgia them," causing uproarious laughter.
After wrapping up a long time in Texas and choosing a new environment with their daughters' futures in mind, interest is growing in the couple's second life in the United States, which began in Minnesota.
