The group NEXZ will meet Latin American fans for the first time since their debut.
NEXZ will perform on the new music festival "STRAYCITY" in Bogotá, Colombia, at 9 a.m. Korea time on the 10th.
Launched by JYP Entertainment and Live Nation centered on their senior group Stray Kids, this festival will grandly unfold in three countries starting with Colombia, including Argentina and Mexico. As this is their first visit to Latin America since their debut in May 2024, they plan to firmly imprint the group's name on local audiences by showcasing their solid performance skills and diverse discography they have built up.
Ahead of this meaningful event, NEXZ members expressed their excited feelings and confident aspirations through their agency. They said, "We studied Spanish for today. We are still lacking in many ways, but we will do our best for the fans who have been waiting for us. We will show many exciting stages including our latest festival-feeling song "SAUCIN'" (Saucin), so we hope you look forward to it a lot."
They also did not forget to express their respect for Stray Kids, who will share the stage with them. The members said, "We learned a lot by watching Stray Kids seniors' stages and performances in person. We were especially surprised by their distinct personality and live performances. The parts that bring the audience excitement, such as ad-libs, and the elements that enhance the taste of live performances were impressive, and we are conscious of those aspects when performing on stage," adding, "We hope to learn and feel many things by watching Stray Kids seniors' 'STRAYCITY' stage, and we will work harder to develop our know-how while finding strengths that only NEXZ can offer."
In the rehearsal photos released along with this, the seven members revealed their anticipation for their first South American performance with bright smiles while holding microphones in comfortable attire. Meanwhile, having warmed up South American fans with the Bogotá performance, NEXZ will consecutively appear on the stage of the large music festival "Rock in Rio" held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the 11th, and are expected to heat up all of South America throughout September.
