2AM member Jo Kwon recounted an anecdote related to "gapping."

That day Jo Kwon met Lee Kyung-sil and Cho Hye-lyeon, who had appeared with him on the past variety show 'Seba-kwi', and showed a welcoming dance. It was a distinctive dance he used to do so often that he earned the nickname "Gappkwon."
Cho Hye-lyeon asked, "I'm introverted, so even when I let loose my face turns red," and "Nowadays, don't people tell you to let loose when you go somewhere?" Jo Kwon replied, "I let loose a lot in the military," and said, "I let loose more in the military than on 'Seba-kwi.'"
Jo Kwon continued, "I was in the military band. At events they told me to let loose. I wondered how much I'd have to let loose to get a reward leave," and joked, "I let loose to my heart's content and got a reward leave."
