Seventeen member Jun will star as the lead in a Chinese healing film.
PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said on the 9th, "Jun will appear in the Chinese film 'Give Me Another Summer Vacation (再给我一个暑假).'"
"Give Me Another Summer Vacation," in which Jun appears, is written and directed by director Bao Jingjing, who won best adapted screenplay at the prestigious Golden Horse Awards in China, and is a healing film about adults' summer vacations.
The story follows Su Xiaoli returning to her hometown to care for her mother and reuniting with Jin Zhugang, a childhood neighbor; Jun plays Jin Zhugang, a college student who works part-time at a photo studio. The trailer captured the tranquil midsummer countryside atmosphere and promised healing.
Through this work, Jun is drawing expectations by transforming into a character 180 degrees different from the intense villain in his previous film "Storm Chaser."
