Actor Kim Seon-ho unexpectedly addressed a photo retouching controversy himself and cheerfully explained the matter.
Kim Seon-ho on the 9th posted a short line on his personal channel saying "I did erase it with AI," along with several photos.
The photos show Kim Seon-ho taking selfies after attending the launch event of an Italian jewelry brand held that day in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul.
Wearing a white jacket paired with a black inner and pants, Kim Seon-ho showed a luxurious yet sophisticated charm. After the photowall event, Kim Seon-ho went inside the building and showed playful behavior, taking selfies while looking in the mirror.
In particular, Kim Seon-ho's remark "I did erase it with AI" is suggestive. Earlier, through behind-the-scenes photos of the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' released on the official channel by Fantagio, suspicions arose that Kim Seon-ho's styling had been heavily retouched rather than showing his usual natural look.
Judging only from the released photos, it is impossible to know exactly how much retouching was done, but some fans left disappointed comments such as "retouch modestly," "please reduce the retouching slightly," and "stop retouching the face so much."
Seemingly aware of this, Kim Seon-ho said he removed only the excessive parts with AI and released selfies he took himself on his channel. It is not possible to know exactly to what extent AI retouched the images, but his natural appearance against a neat background is impressive.
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho will appear in TVING's In the Net, Disney+'s Portraits of Delusion, and tvN's The Assembly Member's Blessing, all scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
