The group LIGHTSUM is launching full-scale activities in Japan.
On the 9th, Cube Entertainment Corp. said LIGHTSUM (Sanga, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong) will pre-release the title track どうして (Doshite) from their Japanese debut album Re:idol on the 16th and begin warming up their promotions.
どうして (Doshite) is a song that contains the feelings of unrequited love that make someone overly affected by the words and actions of the person they like. With lyrics that vividly express the pounding excitement and anxiety toward that person and an addictive melody, it is an adorable song that shows a different charm from LIGHTSUM's previous work.
It also features intuitive yet cute performances, such as the Japanese expression for excitement and heart-flutter "kyun" (キュン) used in "kyun heart" (キュンハート).
In addition to the title track どうして (Doshite), the album includes four new songs including "Fallin' World," "Stop And Go," and 夜を歩く君へ, as well as a cutesy version of the previously released "POSE!" titled "POSE! (Kawaii ver.)."
Ahead of the debut album's release on the 23rd, they will meet fans through various promotions. Starting in Hokkaido on the 27th, they will visit major Japanese cities such as Tokyo and Osaka from the 10th of next month.
A representative said they will hold various special events such as mini lives, group high-touch events, individual autograph sessions and two-shot photo sessions to interact with local fans.
