Broadcaster Jang Seongkyu expressed sorrow over the heavy rain in Nagoya, Japan.
Jang Seongkyu posted on his social media on the 9th, "The Earth seems to be in a lot of pain. Geoje.. Nepal.. this time a disaster has struck Nagoya."
He added, "Facing the Nagoya Asian Games and suffering this kind of measles.. I hope the loss of life will not be great.."
Nagoya, which is set to open the Asian Games on the 19th, received 104.5 mm of rain in one hour until 5 p.m. on the 8th. The Ueda River, which flows through Nagoya, rose rapidly and overflowed, and vehicles were submerged.
Because of the heavy rain, all public schools and kindergartens in Nagoya city were temporarily closed that day.
Meanwhile, Jang Seongkyu previously donated 2,000,000 won for the Nepal floods.
