Actor Baek Sunho (real name Lee Sunho) won the first trial in a lawsuit seeking confirmation of termination of an exclusive contract against his former agency while serving in the military.
On the 9th, Han Jeong-mu, attorney at Law Office Beopjeong, Baek Sunho's legal representative, said on his official social media account, "I would like to inform you that we recently received a favorable ruling from the court regarding the lawsuit seeking confirmation of termination of the exclusive contract filed against the former agency."
He continued, "The court in this ruling determined that the exclusive contract between Baek Sunho and the former agency has ended and that no exclusive contractual relationship exists anymore."
Baek Sunho's side said, "This lawsuit was carried out to clarify the legal relationship concerning Baek Sunho's exclusive contract and his future activities. Currently serving in the military, Baek Sunho will faithfully complete his remaining service and then prepare new works and activities as an actor."
They added, "We sincerely thank the fans who have trusted and supported him and all the 관계자 who have shown interest," and promised, "Actor Baek Sunho will do his best to complete his military service well and repay the support received with good works and sincere activity."
