'Tazza 4' Byun Yo-Han mentioned the efforts he made for the bed scene with Japanese actress Miyoshi Ayaka.
On the afternoon of the 9th at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul, a press screening for the film Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (Tazza 4) was held. Leading actors Byun Yo-Han, Roh Jae Won and director Choi Guk-hee attended.
The final installment of the Tazza series, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (director Choi Guk-hee, distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Sidus), was made based on the original comic of the same name by Heo Yeong. It is a crime film in which Jang Tae-young (played by Byun Yo-Han), who thought he had the world with his online casino business, and his close friend with the same name, Park Tae-young (played by Roh Jae Won), who took everything from him, meet again on the global gambling stage and engage in a revenge showdown.
The Tazza series, which began with the 2006 release starring Cho Seung-woo and Kim Hye-soo, continued with Tazza: The Hand of God (2014) and Tazza: One Eyed Jack (2019), receiving much love. The new Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, coming out after seven years, has drawn more attention for its original worldbuilding and individuality.
If the three films that were released over the past 20 years shared the same universe, the final installment, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, is a work with a completely independent universe. It flamboyantly depicts a global gambling stage that spans Korea, Japan and Vietnam, and not only gambling but also the glamorous world of hold'em sports is anticipated.
Byun Yo-Han said, "Before filming the director gave me homework. He told me 'go on a diet.' At that time my weight was over 80kg so I lost more than 10kg, and after that I did not measure it separately," and added, "I worked tirelessly on weights, cardio and diet to build my body. Although the scene appears on screen for only a few seconds, I invested all my time and effort into it."
Byun Yo-Han performed a high-intensity bed scene with Japanese actress Miyoshi Ayaka, who played Kaneko in the film, saying, "For that scene I did my best until filming ended, including abstaining from alcohol and following various diets," and explained that he thought it would resemble Jang Tae-young's life and described the efforts he made.
Meanwhile, Tazza 4 opens on the 23rd.<
