Actor Han Ga-in finally made a direct appearance in New Recruit 4.
On the 8th, episode 6 of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama New Recruit 4: Sabotage aired, depicting the heartwarming reconciliation between Park Min-seok (played by Kim Min-ho) and Kim Hyun-wook (played by Lee Won-jung). Along with this, the image of battalion commander Byun Hyuk-jin (played by Lee Hyun-gyun) drawing a knife to protect his unit members amid the crisis at dormitory 3 during a group overnight leave delivered a refreshing moment.
Especially at the end of the broadcast, Jeon Woo-joo (played by Han Ga-in), the older sister of Jeon Jeon-se-gye (played by Kim Dong-joon), who had been revered as a goddess among the unit members through photos, appeared in person and captured attention.

According to Kim Dong-joon, on last month's Zzanbro he revealed the behind-the-scenes of securing the special appearance. He said that after season 3, when Han Ga-in had Kim Dong-joon appear on her YouTube channel, she readily expressed her willingness to make a special appearance, saying, "If it helps you, I can appear anytime, so tell me comfortably." Kim Dong-joon immediately relayed that to the production team, and it was reportedly arranged into an actual appearance.
