'World of Street Woman Fighter' winner Uwa has signed an exclusive contract with ESteem and is beginning full-scale activities.
On the 9th, ESteem CEO Kim So-yeon announced the exclusive contract with Uwa and said, "Uwa is an artist whose energy immediately draws attention on stage and who has a clear personal color. As she has already established her presence on stages in various countries, we look forward to the new aspects and possibilities she will show going forward."
Uwa is an artist who began dancing in childhood and has built her own style through experiences in various freestyle genres and dance battles, focusing on popping and hip-hop. She cemented her presence by winning 'World of Street Woman Fighter' with solid dance skills that cross genres and a strong sense of expression.
Since then, Uwa has continued her activities as a performer, participating as a dancer in Jay Park's world tour Japan shows. She also performed a collaboration stage with Sung Hanbin of ZEROBASEONE on M Countdown, and has showcased a wide performance spectrum through collaborations with various K-pop artists including TWICE, KISS OF LIFE's Nathy, and TREASURE's Haruto.
Starting in Japan and moving across stages in Korea and China, Uwa will use this exclusive contract with ESteem as a turning point to expand opportunities for activities in Korea while continuing a more varied presence on the global stage.
