Musical actor Enoch successfully completed the first performance of "Gwanghwamun love song" and presented his own "Wolha."
Enoch took the stage for the first performance of the musical "Gwanghwamun love song" at the D.Cube Link Art Center in Seoul on the 8th and met the audience in the role of "Wolha." "Gwanghwamun love song" is a jukebox musical that depicts Myeongwoo meeting Wolha, who oversees relationships in the exhibition hall of memories during the last minute of his life, and looking back on his past. The Wolha that Enoch plays is a mysterious relationship master who oversees relationships and a memory master who rewinds memories, leading Myeongwoo's memory journey and anchoring the story at its center.
Joining Gwanghwamun love song for the first time with this work, Enoch completed Wolha, who has a mysterious atmosphere and composure, in his own colors. He created a new character by adding warm sensibility and human charm to Wolha's existing intense image. Through delicate emotional acting and his characteristic soft charisma, he brought out Wolha's unique mysterious atmosphere and made his presence felt.
Especially while leading Myeongwoo's memory journey, he moved between composure and delicacy and naturally unfolded the character's narrative. Not only did he smoothly connect the journey of looking back on the time and relationships Myeongwoo had passed through, but he also delivered the numbers with stable acting and solid vocal ability, increasing the play's immersion.
Enoch, who delicately expressed Wolha's characteristic of traversing time and memory and showed a wide emotional line, completed a "Wolha" that contains his own interpretation and captivated audiences from the first performance.
After finishing the first performance, Enoch said, "As it's my first time taking on 'Wolha,' I had many concerns during the preparation process, but now that I have safely completed the first performance, I feel very grateful. Preparing for a new role allowed me to learn and feel many things."
He added, "Now that we have completed the first performance, I look forward to the time of 'Gwanghwamun love song' that we will create together with the audience. I hope you will watch closely as I continue to build my own 'Wolha.' I will do my best to show you a good side."
Enoch will also appear on MBN's "Legendary men," which airs today (the 9th) at 9:40 p.m. On that day's broadcast, presented as the "Great song three kingdoms showdown," Enoch will team up as "Yeongaguk" with Sunye, Son Junho, and Kim Minsu, who are working with him in the musical "Gwanghwamun love song," and compete musically against the "Unknown Legend" TOP7.
Expectations are rising for what kind of performance Enoch will show based on his solid vocal ability and rich stage experience accumulated on musical stages.
Meanwhile, the musical "Gwanghwamun love song," in which Enoch appears, will be performed at the D.Cube Link Art Center in Seoul through Nov. 15. On the 11th and 12th, Enoch will also hold a 2 Days & 1 Night fan camp with members of his official fan cafe "Hwagi-e" and will continue active activities in the second half of the year.
