Earlier, through 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2,' Hong Yun-hwa revealed she succeeded in losing 40kg in nine months. Kim Min-gi gifted Hong Yun-hwa a 10-don gold bracelet worth 955,000 won at the time, to the then market price, after she was able to wear again a dress whose buttons would not close.
However, afterward Hong Yun-hwa experienced aftereffects from the weight loss. She appeared on another program and said that after losing 40kg she suffered from nutritional imbalance, tinnitus and dizziness, and confessed, "I had to gain weight again for my health."
