On Tuesday the 8th at 10:40 p.m., SBS' Dong Sang-i-mong season 2 – You are my destiny (hereafter 'Dong Sang-i-mong2') will for the first time reveal the luxurious farm boasting an unprecedented scale belonging to Michelin star chefs Kim Hee-eun and Yoon Dae-hyun.
During a recent recording, the chef couple Kim Hee-eun and Yoon Dae-hyun confessed, "we contracted a roughly 10,000-pyeong farm for good ingredients," drawing everyone's attention.
When the farm located in a highland area at 1,100 meters above sea level in Gangwon Province and the rare ingredients grown there were revealed, the studio burst into exclamations of "it's truly luxurious" and "a chef's dream come true." The top 0.1% highest-grade farm of Michelin star chefs Kim Hee-eun and Yoon Dae-hyun will be revealed for the first time through the broadcast.
Later, the 'Imokase' chef couple Kim Mi-ryeong, who formed ties with Kim Hee-eun and Yoon Dae-hyun through past shows Culinary Class Wars and Street Restaurant Fighter, appeared and raised expectations. The two couples roamed the mountains, directly foraging rare ingredients and tasting them on the spot, demonstrating their gourmet senses as chefs and surprising everyone. As soon as they confirmed the ingredients' inherent flavors, they continuously produced new recipes, showing themselves as "natural talents in their profession."
Eventually the chefs said, "seeing such good ingredients makes us want to cook and we can't hold back," and held a self-sufficient cooking battle deep in the remote mountains. In the studio, the cooking contest between "Korean Michelin" chef Kim Hee-eun using top-grade ingredients and "Korean culinary matriarch" Imokase chef Kim Mi-ryeong prompted reactions of "that looks so delicious" and "I want to try just one bite," reportedly triggering a saliva alert.
