The group TWS (TWS) proved their further improved live skills on Japan's leading music channel "THE FIRST TAKE (The First Take)."
TWS (Shin Yu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihun, Gyeongmin) appeared on the YouTube channel "THE FIRST TAKE" on the 7th and perfectly delivered the title track "OVERDRIVE" from their fourth mini album "play hard" as a complete one-take live with not a single edit.
"THE FIRST TAKE" is a giant Japanese music channel that has surpassed 10 million subscribers and is famous for a singing environment that gives artists only one chance. After visits from global top artists such as BTS member V, Harry Styles, and Avril Lavigne, TWS made a comeback here two years after "If I'm S then you be my N" in September 2024, showcasing their vocal abilities.
On that day, TWS led the song with their distinct clear and transparent timbre. The six members completed flawless vocals with perfect harmony, natural falsetto execution and soaring high notes. TWS released their second Japanese single "SODA SODA" on the 4th of last month and are continuing an unstoppable streak of success locally. They have been expanding their mainstream appeal by consecutively appearing on Nippon Broadcasting System radio and TBS variety show "Yoru no Brunch."
The local tour fever is also intense. For the Japan tour "2026 TWS TOUR '24/7:FOR:YOU' IN JAPAN," the Fukuoka and Hyogo shows sold out all six performances at once, demonstrating overwhelming ticket power. They are scheduled to culminate the local tour with a grand finale at the large-scale stage at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa on the 12th and 13th.
