Singer Lim Young-woong painted Goyang Sports Complex entirely sky blue and completed a special time celebrating his 10th anniversary since debut.
Lim Young-woong's 2026 concert 'IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2' was held from the 4th to the 6th at Goyang Sports Complex main stadium. Performed with about 95,000 fans known as the Hero Era, this show looked back on Lim Young-woong's past 10 years while also serving as a promise to share the time ahead.
The concert opened with a VCR that captured Lim Young-woong's past 10 years, marking his 10th anniversary since debut. As footage showed his growth amid fans' love, he decorated the opening stage with a freshly remade version of his debut song "Miwoyo" as well as "Love always runs away" and "Grains of sand."
Taking the stage, Lim Young-woong said, "Hero Era, shout out. I prepared a lot, so I hope you enjoy it." and greeted fans warmly.
Afterward, stages that fully showcased Lim Young-woong's charm continued. Starting with "Make the moment last forever," he performed beloved songs such as "Rainbow," "I really love you," and "Not the stairs but the elevator," heating up the venue. In addition, each song featured distinctive stage direction that captured the audience's eyes and ears at the same time.
Lim Young-woong's unique sensibility was enhanced with spectacular visuals. From a refreshing stage using a water screen to moving vehicles that brought him close to the audience so he could interact with fans, and a turntable lift that increased immersion, diverse productions added to the concert's enjoyment.
Notably, songs from the special digital album 'IM HERO 10,' which is set to be released on the 8th, were unveiled for the first time at the concert, drawing an enthusiastic response. Songs including "Baila," the title track "TtoTto," "New York," and "Please be happy" were revealed, raising fans' anticipation for the new album.
The VCR was special as well. "Gourmet world," in which Lim Young-woong and actors Hyun Bong-sik, Yoon Byung-hee, and comedian Hong Yun-hwa delivered strong performances, appeared as another highlight and provided cheerful laughs. Added to that were the band's vivid sound and chorus, the rich harmonies of Kyungbok University choir, and the choreography team's powerful energy, which together made the performance even more fulfilling.
The highlight of the show was the overwhelming-scale fireworks and drone show. The drone show, presented with Lim Young-woong's narration, conveyed the story of the Hero Era expressed in light and Lim Young-woong seeking that light, delivering deep emotion. In particular, the phrase "My love, my Hero Era" that embroidered the sky above Goyang Sports Complex created a spectacle in itself and maximized the concert's lingering impression.
He continued the show alternating laughter and emotion with songs including "Warmth" and "Because it rained," as well as remakes like "A bientot," "ULSSIGU," and "Home," and in response to fans' passionate encore requests, Lim Young-woong returned to the stage once more. He then closed the show with overwhelming energy by performing "Moise" alongside a 24-member pungmul troupe.
Meeting about 95,000 fans over three days, Lim Young-woong said, "The 10 years I spent with the Hero Era were truly precious and I am thankful. I want to be with you for the next 10 years as well, and I will keep singing hard for a long, long time," showing his special affection for fans.
