Members Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin, who were active as a unit of the group EXO (hereafter EXO-CBX), are reported to have filed a provisional injunction lawsuit seeking to suspend the effect of an exclusive contract against their agency INB100.
On the 7th, according to Yonhap News Agency, the Seoul Central District Court Civil Joint Division 50 (Director General Sang-hoon Lee) will hold a hearing on the day for the provisional injunction application filed by EXO-CBX to suspend the effect of the exclusive contract against INB100.
INB100 is a company Baekhyun established in June 2023, but it was incorporated into Cha Ga-won's One Hundred label in May of the following year.
EXO-CBX notified Cha Ga-won's side last April of the termination of the exclusive contract citing unpaid settlements and other reasons, but when the company did not respond, they appear to have filed a provisional injunction lawsuit.
Cha Ga-won and MC MONG jointly founded One Hundred in 2023, but after MC MONG left the company in July last year, Cha has operated it alone.
Later, Cha was indicted and arrested by the prosecution in August on fraud charges involving about 30 billion won, and the first trial is scheduled for Oct. 13.
Meanwhile, One Hundred label artists such as Lee Seung Gi, The Boyz and VV have claimed unpaid settlements and have repeatedly notified contract termination and are proceeding with lawsuits.
