Actor Son Tae-young expressed pride watching her rapidly grown son drive skillfully.
On the 6th, the Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young channel uploaded a video titled 'How Son Tae-young♥Kwon Sang-woo couple celebrate a birthday (+family date vlog)'.
Son Tae-young, to celebrate her birthday, made dinner plans with her sister's family and then left with her husband Kwon Sang-woo and son Luk-hee. Behind Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo's vehicle, her son Luk-hee's car was visible, and Son Tae-young said, "Son Luk-hee finally got his driver's license. I rode with him earlier and he drives well." Kwon Sang-woo said, "It's hard to see his face these days," and Son Tae-young said, "He goes to school to play soccer and is gone from the early morning," noting that Luk-hee, a third-year high school student preparing for college entrance exams, is the busiest at home.
Until now Son Tae-young used to make long drives for her son who is a student, but Kwon Sang-woo said, "90% of Son Tae-young's luggage has disappeared," saying his wife's hardships have greatly decreased.
Son Tae-young said, "Luk-hee told me he is most comfortable and drives best when he drives alone. Do you know why?" saying it is because of his father's nagging. She laughed, "His father is also bad at reading directions but keeps telling him to look at the map, so because of his father he once went the wrong way." In response Kwon Sang-woo denied, saying, "It's not because of me but his fault," drawing laughter.
Son Luk-hee followed to the meeting place well and parked perfectly. Seeing this, Son Tae-young showed pride as she watched her son's dependable back.
Earlier this April Son Tae-young bought a large Jeep that her son would drive as a used car. She and her brother-in-law visited several local used car dealerships in the U.S. and checked carefully, negotiating prices with dealers. The vehicle Son Tae-young and her brother-in-law finally chose was a 2023 hybrid SUV model of the Jeep brand (Jeep Wrangler 4xe). Although the new car price is in the 70 million–90 million won range, the used cars were reported to be priced much lower, ranging from the mid-30 million won range to the high-40 million won range.
Meanwhile, Son Tae-young has been residing in New Jersey, U.S., since 2019 for her children's education.
