EO Contents Group is accelerating the production of series content using Generative AI.
Global IP content studio EO Contents Group, following the 100% Generative AI seasonal drama 'Death Code: The Final Vote' produced in 2025, is expanding its AI content realm in earnest by producing the 2026 new work 'The Rescue (The Rescue)'.
Death Code, composed of 10 episodes each about 3 minutes long, is a survival drama in which an AI mafia game introduced as a prison rehabilitation program takes over a closed sea prison. Through a series format in which characters, incidents and the world accumulate as episodes progress, it demonstrated the possibility that Generative AI can implement continuous genre narratives beyond one-off shorts or short films.
In particular, EO Contents Group combined Generative AI technology with the story planning and production capabilities it accumulated through live-action film and drama production. The focus is not simply on completing a single video but on developing it into a series and IP that can continuously expand the story and characters.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the company is raising the completeness of Generative AI content by focusing on consistency of character and emotional arcs, connectivity between scenes, and genre immersion.
The Rescue, produced in 2026, is a global series planned as 50 episodes of 1 minute each. Set in major cities around the world, it plans to unfold stories encompassing rescue operations, espionage and romance, and is expected to showcase an expanded scale based on the AI content production experience accumulated through Death Code.
EO Contents Group has steadily built its genre content production capabilities through dramas Love Scout, Head Over Heels, Night Has Come and films The Noisy Mansion, Gangryeong: Ghost Play. After launching its first short-form drama Check in to the queen on major domestic and international short-form platforms, it is also preparing to release the new short-form drama Stuck in a mood.
The plan is to continuously introduce various AI series aimed at the global market by combining Generative AI with the short-form content market centered on story and IP. Attention is focused on EO Contents Group's moves to combine existing content production experience with new technology.
