Actor Ban Min-jung, 46, married a businessman one year older who is not in the entertainment industry.
Ban Min-jung held a wedding on the 6th at an undisclosed venue in Seoul. The groom previously worked in the management industry and is said to be in the interior design business now.
The two first met about six years ago through a close acquaintance and became a couple.
Ban Min-jung posted her wedding photos on her social media (SNS) and shared her thoughts on getting married.
Ban Min-jung said, "Because this bond came to us late, we will cherish each other's side, laugh a lot and love a lot with healthy bodies and minds, and live happily," adding, "I sincerely thank everyone who has shared many moments of my life so far, always cheered me on, and given me strength. I will not forget the warm hearts you have sent, and I will also always cheer you on with all my strength."
Ban Min-jung added, "Please bless the road ahead for the two of us, who are starting anew, with warm hearts."
Born in 1980, Ban Min-jung debuted in 2001 with director Kim Ki-duk's film "Address Unknown." Since then, she has appeared in the drama "Dong Yi," "Bridal Mask," "Good Doctor," "You Rolled in Unexpectedly," "Yeon Gaesomun," and the films "Yoga Institute" and "The Deal," among others.
