The Bulkkot Fighters will stage a special matchup at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium.
On the 12th at 5 p.m. at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium, SBS Plus will air a special live broadcast Burn to Win: Bulkkot Fighters vs. Busan High School.
Busan High, boasting a 79-year tradition, has produced numerous professional baseball stars such as Choo Shin-soo, Son Ah-seop and Jung Hyun-su, including Jeong Geun-woo and Jeong Eui-yoon, who play for the Bulkkot Fighters, solidifying its pride in Busan baseball.
Jeong Geun-woo and Jeong Eui-yoon of the Bulkkot Fighters will face their alma mater, Busan High, and its younger players. The veterans, who have amassed extensive experience on the professional stage, and the still-developing juniors will clash head-on, promising a special senior-junior showdown.
This game is the first time the special live broadcast Burn to Win will be held live at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium. It is also the Bulkkot Fighters' third Sajik road game of the season, returning to Busan three weeks after the Aug. 22 game against Busan Institute of Science and Technology.
Since the game against Busan High originally scheduled for Aug. 8 was canceled due to the heat wave, attention is on what result the once-postponed matchup will produce this time.
Meanwhile, the game between the Bulkkot Fighters and Busan High School will take place on the 12th at 5 p.m., and SBS Plus will broadcast it live.
