Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub unveiled character posters of 11 actors who will bring the 20-year Tazza series to its conclusion.
Opening on the 23rd, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (director Choi Guk-hee, distributed by CJ ENM, produced by C-JeS) is a crime film in which Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-Han), who thought he owned the world through his online Big Bet business, and his close friend of the same name, Park Tae-young (Roh Jae Won), who stole everything from him, meet again on a global gambling stage for a final showdown.
The 11 actors who will bring the Tazza series to a close are characters who enter the same game driven by their own different motives.
First, Jang Tae-young (Byun Yo-Han) is a man who, with innate finesse, captivates people's hearts and moves by instinct rather than calculation, disrupting the game with his sense. By contrast, Park Tae-young (Roh Jae Won) has proven himself through natural intelligence and hard work, but always falls behind by a hair, and the resentment that accumulates distorts him and becomes the catalyst for the revenge drama.
Kaneko (Miyoshi Ayaka), the head of a Japanese corporation backed by a yakuza organization, directly designs massive gambling games and walks steadily between Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young toward her own goal.
Figures who expand the stakes also appear. Legendary Tazza Gwak Dong-wook (Jo Woo-jin) reads the table with the composure of a master who has experienced both rock bottom and the top, leaving a decisive move for Jang Tae-young, who has fallen into the abyss. Contract killer Jo Jung-hwan (Yoon Kyung-ho) even changes the fate of Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young by breaking his own rules.
Sasaki (Ihara Tsuyoshi), who leads a Japanese corporation, quietly opens the game but bets more than anyone, and Tao, a powerful figure from Vietnam (Hong Dao), moves with everything calculated.
There are also people who have stood by Jang Tae-young and Park Tae-young. Hama (Kim Min-ho), a friend and colleague who has been with them since school days, longs for the friendship amid the deception and counterdeception of the game. Jang Tae-hee (Lim Se-mi), the sister who raised Jang Tae-young alone, accepted even Park Tae-young, who had nowhere to go, as family and set the beginning for the two.
Joining them are lobbyist Linda Park (Stephanie Lee), who brokers deals in Vietnam, and the ruthless outlaw Abraham (Moon ji-hoon), bringing the total to 11 people gathered in one place.
Meanwhile, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub opens on Sept. 23.
