Big Bang's 'Running Man' appearance has failed to materialize for more than 10 years, and Yu Jae-seok and Haha recalled the difficult filming of G-Dragon (GD) in the past.
On the June 6 broadcast of SBS 'Running Man', the members appeared dressed up to match the production team's order to "come dressed with care."
That day, Haha appeared wearing a Big Bang goods T-shirt. When Yu Jae-seok teased, "Who is the thief," Haha said, "I went to the Big Bang concert yesterday," revealing his extraordinary fandom. Naturally, the story of Haha, who recently finished a fan concert in Busan, also came up. When Yu Jae-seok asked about the audience's reaction, Haha said, "All the people who were hiding gathered. I watched secretly and tears came to my eyes," conveying his overwhelming feelings. He also shared the happy news that tickets for the Seoul fan concert sold very well.
In particular, Haha thanked Yu Jae-seok and asked for a handshake. Previously, through content that Yu Jae-seok and Big Bang did together, Haha's fan concert was naturally promoted and saw a noticeable effect. Haha expressed gratitude, saying, "When I went to the Big Bang concert yesterday, it was crazy," and Yu Jae-seok also said, "We have a close relationship with Big Bang." In response, Haha faced the camera and made a public love call for a 'Running Man' appearance, saying, "Big Bang, come out once."
Then Jee Seokjin asked, "Why doesn't Big Bang appear?" and Yu Jae-seok brought up an unexpected reason. He said that G-Dragon, who appeared on 'Running Man' in the past, went through a lot. Yu Jae-seok acknowledged, "G-Dragon suffered a lot in the past. It was pretty intense then." Haha also laughed, saying, "GD has bad memories," and even recalled the famous scene showing G-Dragon during the mudflat filming.
Big Bang appeared as a full group on 'Running Man' in 2015 and engaged in intense races with the members. At that time, G-Dragon and the other members demonstrated exceptional variety show spirit by playing a game that threw their bodies into the mudflats. About 10 years later, Big Bang's reappearance on 'Running Man' has not taken place. Even Yu Jae-seok acknowledged, "It was pretty intense then," and with Haha mentioning GD's "bad memories," the harsh mudflat filming of the past brought renewed laughter.
Nonetheless, Haha again sent a love call, saying, "I want to see Big Bang. Come out once," and the production team also expressed hope for Big Bang's return with a caption reading, 'We will lay out a path of flowers and wait.'<
