SEVENTEEN's "all-round youngest" Dino successfully wrapped up his first solo activities. As the first K-pop idol to present a "sub-character" album, he alternated between Picheolin and Dino to display diverse charms, further expanding his own musical spectrum.

Dino released his mini 1st album "吉BOARD" last month on the 3rd as the "sub-character" Picheolin and, leading with a Korean-style "heung," captured short-form algorithms. The title track "놀아보세 (prod. Hitchhiker)" as well as the pre-release track "There is no painless breakup (narr. Lee Moon-sae)" and "Crazy Crazy" spread by word of mouth among listeners and consecutively ranked high on Instagram's "rising popular audio."
In particular, music that expressed a "K-retro" sensibility in a modern sound targeted the tastes of a wide range of generations. Including "짠 (feat. DINO)," which added witty lyrics to a sophisticated track; "정말 (prod. Lee Hyun-do of DEUX)," based on 1990s new jack swing; and "정으로 사랑으로," which features a familiar melody and warm atmosphere, the album contained songs of different colors that formed a musical common ground spanning generations.
Most of all, it was meaningful in that he showed a musical color different from the existing Dino through the new character Picheolin. Fitting the concept of a "sub-character," he put a cheerful and friendly charm at the forefront while demonstrating solid musical completeness, proving his potential as a solo artist.

Even after returning to his "main character" Dino, his activities continued. Starting with M Countdown on the 3rd, he appeared sequentially on KBS2 MUSIC BANK, MBC Show! Music Core and SBS Inkigayo to perform the track "LIKE IT."
Picheolin's completely different natural groove and hip charm filled the stage and captured attention. It was a moment that highlighted Dino's wide expressive range, freely changing the mood of music and performance according to the character.
On the 6th, he appeared at the music festival "Madly Medley 2026" with a diverse setlist and stage presence, once again showing the true value of an "all-around player." Through his solo activities he cemented his capabilities as an artist who possesses music, performance and character interpretation.
Even after finishing his solo activities, Dino continues to meet fans through various performances. The solo concerts "2026 Dino X Picheolin [吉BOARD SHOW]," which thrilled about 15,000 fans at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul from the 21st to the 23rd of last month, will be held in Macao on the 10th of next month.
On the 13th he is scheduled to take the stage at "Waterbomb Kaohsiung" in Kaohsiung to meet local audiences.
Having shown both the diverse charms of the "sub-character" Picheolin and the "main character" Dino through his first solo activities, expectations are rising for how Dino will expand his own domain with future stages and music.
